The itinerary outside the village of Breil proposes to discover the Ligurian village of Piène-Haute, which was annexed to the Municipality of Breil-sur-Roya, and to France in 1947.
From the town of Breil-sur-Roya in the direction of Ventimiglia, the RD 6204 road runs alongside the remarkable railway works put into operation in 1928.
You enter the Piène village, leaving the SS20 road in the north of San-Michele (Italy), in the direction of Olivetta.
You can return to Breil on an unpaved carriage road, towards the RD 2204 road at Colle di Brouis (beware of possible holes), or with the arrival itinerary.
