The itinerary outside the village of Saorge, proposes the discovery of some cultural assets in the valley floor. Most of the other assets are located in the village or far from the roads.
The Caïros valley, where the Maurion chapel (17th century) is located, can be reached by a narrow road (RD 40) , which continues through splendid landscape, up to the entrance of the Mercantour national park, the start of some beautiful excursions.
The RD 6204 route crosses the Nocé gorge and leads to the RD 138 road, where the “du bain du Sémite” site, the Madonna del Poggio and the Franciscan convent are located.
